PROGRAMS

Utah State University is built upon programs that offer knowledge important for today and inspiration important for tomorrow.

Among the most remarkable outcomes of the USU campaign has been the naming of four academic colleges —the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services, the Caine College of the Arts and the S.J. & Jessie E. Quinney College of Natural Resources. Each of these actions reflects gifts and pledges of more than $25 million dollars.

The campaign also had a remarkable impact on USU's Regional Campus System. As a result of landmark gifts, USU now has an impressive new campus in the Uintah Basin. Other gifts are changing or will change the university's presence in Brigham City, Tooele, Moab and USU Eastern in Price and Blanding. Among the university's greatest legacies are the opportunities created for students of all ages who now have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality Utah State University education absent of financial and other barriers associated with geography.

USU's global presence has been enhanced—in research, student opportunities and in an expanded presence of international students on campus allowing the university to help its students play a role in an increasingly global economy.

A growing number of research opportunities are being greatly facilitated by people who have helped build USU's research and commercialization enterprise. This is a growing part of the university's portfolio, and one that will become increasingly important as it moves forward.

And finally, one of the most visible and significant impacts of the USU campaign is seen in its athletic programs. USU alumni and fans are basking in the resurgence of Aggie pride and triumph on the athletic field. Much of this is made possible because of generous donations for new facilities, providing scholarship support to student athletes and assisting the university in attracting and retaining quality administrators and coaches. USU now has, or will soon have, facilities that are the envy of any university in the country. This has made possible the university's opportunity to move into the Mountain West Conference, and will continue to allow the university to compete and win championships at the highest level. It is a great time to be an Aggie.
